I've been ZAINOED!!!
Well its official, after my 8 hour detailing marathon yesterday I finally understand what all the fuss is about...Ive been waxing my G with different products for 10 months now, and nothing is even close to the shine and the glossy feel I have right now from using Zaino products...I could honestly eat food off my car if I'd like..The steps I used was Dawn soap Wash, then Clay Bar, z7 car wash, Then z2, followed by z6, another application of z2, and a final coat of z6...It took about 6-8 hours total but it was worth every minute..I also have z5 but I decided to not use any since I don't have many fine scratches at the moment...To all guys on here that hyped up this product I'd like to send out a big Thank You...Anyone who saw or touched my car today was absolutely amazed...I guess a big thanks should go to my gf who felt I had a bad week and decided to order me the larger Zaino Kit to cheer me up...lol :D

I spent 6 hours doing mine yesterday and can't believe how it looks. Slicktide you say it has been on for 7 monthes and still looks like that. Have you reapplied it or just used the Z-6 regularly?
|
I spent the weekend with Zaino, now my silver G looks amazing. Rain, rain stay away!
|
I used Zaino on my last 2 cars. Amazing stuff. I did my G the first weekend after I got it. I try and apply a coat or 2 every week. The shine just gets wetter and wetter. It is amazing sh!t.

Zaino's great stuff. Z6 is the key to a great shine. Does anyone have experience with Z8?

Have not put on any more Z2 after the first 4 coats in Aug of 2004. |

I'll probrably get it. I have to order more Z2 anyhow. Plus I want to see if they have leather conditioner. I used the last of my Lexol on my Armada.

I just used Zaino for the first time this weekend, the weather was gorgeous so I said why not. 4 Coats of Z2/Z6 and it looks amazing.

Zaion rocks.
They do make a leather cleaner and leather in a bottle. Works great! |

The Z5 isn't needed if you don't have many fine scratches and swirl marks...I did the same Z2 and Z6, I figured I'll save the Z5 for when I accumulate some scratches... |
expensive detail....
today was my first zaino experience. holy $h*t, it took me 6.5 hrs jus' for the whole zaino procedure, but man, does it look great! i'm hella tired!
but i did what most people do, started off with dawn, then claybar, w/brief z-7 car was spray down, but then did z-2, z-5, then z-2 again, then z-5, then finally z-6. i would agree that the z-5 probably wasn't necessary, the shine is great, and if i did have any minute scratches/swirl marks, i can't notice 'em anymore (probalby because i have a silver one). i need to do the bumper again i think since the claybar job i did didn't really remove those damn water stains! i got 'em on my windows, too, and i can't get those off, even with vinegar! thanks phnsy hard water sprinklers  i also used wheelwax wheel cleaner. the wheelwax car shampoo isn't that great for brake dust. i would suggest using something stronger. but the wheelwax itself does give it a nice shine. and the extreme black is great. i was pretty happy with it (but we'll see if it really doesn't splash up on the fenders). by the way, this whole process of washing, then waxing and buffin' the wheels took about 2 hrs for all four. yech! all in all, i was pretty happy with the experience. combined with DF towels, it made for one pricey detailing job. that's the only bad thing IMO, but i guess you do get what you pay for! ps-if the car gets dirty, we could jus' watch with z-7, then reapply z-2 and z-6 as needed, right  |

As far as z-8, been thinking about ordering it. It says to only use for special occasion for you want extreme shine, and it doesnt replace z-6. You can use z-8 once a week but according to them its not very cost effective, since z-6 would do the job just fine. I want it so my car can shine a lil extra at the FGC car meets. |
