Pics of the detail job I did on my brother's Evo8
My brother just moved in with me this past December, so it was time to give his car a good detail since it has seen a Buffalo winter (lots of salt).
Process: Wash w/ dishwasher soap - to strip the wax Clay bar - to remove fine contaminents and oxidation Wash again Klasse AIO Klasse SG 303 on all exterior vinyl trim RainX on front windshield Rear before:  http://st28.startlogic.com/~chicagot.../reardirty.jpg Rear after:  http://st28.startlogic.com/~chicagot.../rearclean.jpg One more of the rear at an angle: http://st28.startlogic.com/~chicagot.../richtrunk.jpg Side view: http://st28.startlogic.com/~chicagot...J/sideview.jpg What do you guys think? I detail cars on the side so if you need your car done and you live in the Chicagoland area PM me.:D |
Did you do it by hand or Portercable?

Sweet - looks much better. Tough to do by hand but you sure pulled it off.

Looks good, but a better before/after comparison would have been if you washed his car first :)
|
Stick the car in direct sun light and lets see how good it really is..
|
hahahhaha +1

I agree. To show a true comparison would be to wash the car then take pictures of it in direct sunlight, and then take pictures afterwards in direct sunlight. Those photos do a present a nice clean car to us, but it doesn't display how much you reduced swirl marks, light scratches, etc.. It also doesn't show how improved the shine is when you applied the Klasse twins :).
