I'm not sure if you guys have seen this, but I was reading this article last night. The concept is interesting, but I'm curious how well this would integrate into a non-urban setting. If they could actually establish a uniform standard for communication between all of these vehicles, that would be something to behold.

Looks like some of the police transport vehicles already being used in Japan. A better version of the segway

pretty much...segway was immediately what i thought of when i saw it. if they can find a way to make this hold your groceries or other such items, it would be a great idea.
