Today's auto-x event in Eueless at Pennington Field lot. Pics inside.
 

So I got a chance to go to the first VQ Championship event of the year, run by mr. Gavin himself. (Gword)

It was a good time. small group, it was mostly Miata's, rx-8, thrown in were about 5 z's, 1 g, mustangs, genesis, accord station wagon, firebird, mini, s2k, etc etc

The miata's and rx-8's RIPPED up the circuit. Got to see some of the Z guys that I hadnt seen in a while, and rode along with jake for one of his runs. Fvck, R-Comps are THE SH!T! and Gword knows how to effin' drive. His car is completely stripped inside besides his 2 seats, and being on very little mods, he was getting some damn good times.

I didnt actually drive at this event, but I am making my driving debut on 3/20 if everything goes according to plan, in mineral wells.

I'm guessing that firebird had the fastest time of the day??? I was only there an hour or so but that thing was crazy fast! Hope to meet you sometime acidjake! I should have wandered over to the Z's but my son was wanting to walk back to where we parked. It was a great day for driving!

i need to get out there and try this..def need to get another set of rims before I do it though

My other buddy chris was running on his volks (#88).. its not that bad on your wheels - SRS.. but either way - come out holmes.. the more the merrier..

Well guys, sad I couldn't make the first VQ Championship autox but I am looking forward to the next one! I hopefully have my check engine light codes figured out.

Next step is to get my new Kinetix front camber arms installed, adjust my suspension UP about 1/2" so I actually have some travel from my shocks and then get that beetch aligned and I'm ready to rock and roll!

Time to rep some more G's at the next event!!

I'll just be rolling back in from Colorado on 3/20 after being gone 8 days so I'll have to miss #2. Hopefully #3 will be my first one to drive in! :)
