AWESOME! how does she feel or have you not picked her up yet?
supposed to be today since the tuning is done. it was just speaking to UPREV about the starting issue and see if its just a minor adjustment in the fuel maps or another spot within the software that controls the Fuel Temp on start up etc...

for what it's worth - i have some of those issues with my car as well from time to time - used to be terrible with the Utec, to the point of i hated turning off my car for fear i couldn't get it started, very frustrating... Then i switched to Haltech and i have that issue very rarely now, but still on occasion.

yesh its wierd. Only happens when its warmed up. Cold starting is perfectly fine everytime. What size injectors are you running?

600 CC - yeah it is weird - luckily it isn't an issue anymore!

I replaced the utec after about 2 weeks - i couldn't handle it - nothing like walking to your nice car and spending 10 minutes trying to get it to start - looks real sweet.

yeah I am running 1000cc injectors. they think that may be the problem. On cold startup it likes the extra fuel to start but when its hot it doesnt need it therefore I think thats the issue.

Yeah - i've heard of others not having the issue - who knows, I'm sure it is all tune related.

not to say i didnt have issues. I had major fuel issues which prob were an easier fix than getting a fuel regulator, but i have one now, and it works, so i cant complain.

those issues are soo frustrating. it's hard to diagnose them perfectly, it costs a lot to get to that point, and then it could be soemthign really small or something huge that effect everything.

Maybe you are flooding your cylinders with too much gas after its run.

timing was looked at but didnt make sense on why It would start perfectly fine cold and then once hot wouldnt turnover without assistance from the pedal.

which steered me back towards fuel.

same price....whynot get the bigger and tune against them! they said I could always drop back to 725cc and see if that corrected. I made the comment that the car turned over just fine on 380cc injectors.

When did FPR's become a non standard "good idea to have" on aftermarket boost builds?
