First time in a RWD car at the track

My other car is an AWD speed6 that runs in the low12s and i can launch that at 4500+ rpms so it was a little hard to launch at 2500 with my 2005 G35. My mods are just an intake i made from autozone for 39 bucks.. Pics later..

Anyway my first pass was a 14.9@97 w/2.5 60ft spun off the line, next was a 15.0@95 w/2.3 60 thought i had it is manual mod so when it came time to shift i put it in "N" but quickly put it in "D" and continued the run. Next was a 14.5@97 with a 2.2 60 still learning the launch. Next was a 14.3@98 with a 2.18 60ft and my best was 14.22@97 with a 2.14 60ft. I think i can do a little better once i learn how to get my rpms up or at least get me some tire that will allow more rpms. My launch rpm before spinning was 2500.. My car is a atx FYI..

The stall rate on the automatic is around 2,500rpm so you can't do much about that without going with a high stall torque converter. Fix the traction issue first.

Well i would like to get up to about 3000-3500 on my launches i think this will get me in the l.8 range or so. Next will be the choice of tire and size i am thinking about the rs3 in like a 265/35/19 also upgrade my suspension in the rear to help with weight transfer...

What other tires do you guys recommend and if not size? I dont want it so sticky that it will bog at the line...
