Its always best to try and determine info based on as many owners experience rather than "theory" or what they “heard/read"...
Everything I've done to my car was after lots of research from others that did the same things (well not everything, a few things I was ballzy enough to try before anyone else).
Point is - I wasn’t saying you were the guy that would mistake his "messing with you" mis-diagnosis... but other future reads might.
Back to topic... I bet both our "clunk" will be corrected with end links... I'm just discouraged at the lack of offerings...

Did you find out what it was my car does the same thing and I don't know what it is
