I've been stomping fast and hard on my clutch pedal when shifting. It has actually improved the smoothness between shifts. Would this be a throw out bearing problem??

I'm replacing the clutch soon, along with a new throw out and input shaft bearing.

It been my experience that you're simply warming up the clutch disc a bit and removing some of that material that accumulates on the flywheel which tends to cause some grabbiness.

Maybe, but usually when I push it slow, I hear and feel a clunk which seems like the throw out bearing is getting a workout? When I stomp on the clutch, it actually seems like the transmission wants to go into another gear. I feel the shifter slide out of the gear with less effort from my hand.

It's just strange...My clutch isn't slipping regularly, however I'm due for a fluid change and the input shaft bearing is a can of rocks. So I want to replace everything soon.
