what do u think?

i already stripped the black off them and trying to deside if i should repaint them or leave them paint-less.

Hmm, how about just taking a dremel and marking them up in a pattern a bit (back and forth motion).

He's talking about a machined-looking finish... ...basically like brushed aluminum or the like.

I think the black works and gives it a performance-oriented look. Likewise, some shiny bolts would certainly blend in well with the plenum. Just depends on what sort of look you're going for.

Well the black was probably some sort of corrossion resistance so I'd paint them some color. Blue to match the wires might be an easy choice. Or how about white to match the wire's printing?
