Dyno after Technosquare re-flash
Dyno after Technosquare re-flash
Here are some dyno runs that I am a bit puzzled by. Graph is a composite of five runs--#2&3 were done with the mods in my sig, and #4 is the best of three runs about 10 days later after the ECU sent to Technosquare and re-flashed. Sent along a copy of the first dyno with the ECU.
The only major difference was the new A/F curve (area under the red line--green didn't show at all in the scan) which much smoother. Day of the last runs was a bit warmer and drier, but not so much as to make a difference. Needless to say, when weighing the status-quo of before and after against the cost of the re-flash, shipping, install, and dyno runs, this is a return of zip per buck spent. Am I off base, or shouldn't I have seen a better result?
Car feels stronger, but that's probably the butt-dyno kicking in!!

What is the red A/F line? Is that the new ratio after reflash? If so, its about perfect and much better than before as you were pig rich up top.
So why no more power? Did you get L-Spec or F-Spec reflash? If you got L-Spec, they did not advance your timing. I got F-Spec on my sedan and the effect was huge. But sedans are detuned to be able to run 87 fuel from the factory (the 20HP coupe vs sedan difference).
But you should have more power just from the better mix. Call TS to ask them what program you got with the details of fuel/timing add or trim. Sometimes you have to reflash a 2nd time to get it right. Good luck.
