350Z engine cover won't fit????
 

I bought a 350Z/G35 cf engine cover and it won't fit? WTF:confused2:? I have a 1/2" MD spacer, but on their website it says that the 350Z engine cover will still fit with the stock engine cover with the 1/2". They mention the 350Z stock strut bar won't, but that's no big deal cuz I don't have one. Isn't the VQ35DE in the 03 350Z the same as the 03 G35? If they are the same then it should fit no problem but it's not even close. Did I just get a ****ty cf engine cover then?

where exactly is it not fitting? :confused:

^ at the bottom two holes where the screws attached to my engine would come up in and a nut would hold them in place. The screws are too low and don't even come up to the bottom of the hole. The top part is also pressed very hard against the plenum if you put in the top two screws.

It doesn't look like the one in the picture though, it's plain with nothing on it.
