A Z owner saying the Z has a different tune and requires Prem when the G doesn't
 

This guy has no clue what he is talking about...take a look. His name is Arnold K. You gotta read through his other posts too. We all know the 6mt requires premium while the autos do not while it is recommended they use it you don't have too. But he insists the coupes requires it but not the sedans. He won't even listen to anything others are telling him.

The autos and manuals are the same when it comes to that, that is truely false information. I don't know where you got this information?? :confused2:

In fact my manual says this:

"Use premium gasoline with an octane of at least 91 AKI. If premium is not available, unleaded regular with an 87 AKI can be used may be temporarily used: have fuel tank only partially filled up with unleaded, and fill up premium as soon as possible. Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration."

Incorrect... And coupe vs sedan auto both have the same ecu tuning.

So, the guy you are complaining about is correct. The Sedans and Coupe's require different fuel according to Infiniti. I am correct, and you are wrong..sorry man.

Sedan Automatics can take Regular Unleaded, but Premium is recommended.

Sedan Manuals, Coupe Automatics & Manuals require Premium Unleaded.

One more time...by the Owner's Manual only...

ONLY Sedan Automatics should take Regular Unleaded, but Premium Unleaded is recommended (not required).

ALL Coupes and Sedan Manuals are required to take Premium Unleaded.
