can't fill my gas tank

so this sounds really dumb i know but i can't fill my gas tank. every time i'm at any pump i can only pump for about 30 seconds before it clicks off like it thinks the tank is full. the wierd thing is it sounds like the tank is filling up. (you know the sound of a container filling up with liquid) however i know that its not the fuel gage just reading empty, the reader was replaced just recently. if i wait another 30 seconds or so i can pump a little bit more.

i just put on the greddy evo 2 exhaust and had to relocate the charcoal canister or evap container, whatever you want to call it. every thing is hooked up corectly.

any input to why this is happening or how i can fix it would be much appericiated.

Thanks

Could be a faulty shutter valve. They had to replace mine in my 05 G35. It acted just like yours. It was a common problem on the 1st gen G35s. It should be covered under warranty.

If you serach on this topic there are alot of posts.

Check the TSB forum... but this is a problem on some G's - take it to the dealer and they will probably replace it under warranty if you still have one.
