Car won't start
Posted this on DIY with no response. I had to boost my car just before Xmas and just got back from 2 week vacation and my car is completely dead. When trying to start nothing happens - no lights, no starter clicking, nothing works including the keyfob. I tried jumping it and it did not help so I am assuming I need to replace the battery. Is replacing the battery easy? Should I go get an OEM from the dealer or other? Thks.

You probably need a new battery. I had to replace mine, I didn't go OEM and haven't had any problems. It's a pretty easy task, but it might be a pain in the winter if it's cold out.

thanks - I figured as it is 5.5 yrs old. I will head over to autozone today and pick up a duralast gold or optima and try it myself (otherwise would need a tow).

Sounds like you either need a battery or check your connections.
