HELP! Just sold car and can't smog with Injen CAI!
 

I put an aftermarket Injen CAI system on my G but now I can't smog it because there is no California Smog number on it. Does anyone have this Number?????

call injen up and get it from them i had the same issue. If you go to a cool smog shop they will do it for you. last resort is go to the shop you got it from and ask them to get it. and order the sticker also. they didnt have them cause they were selling them before it was legal.

Called Injen they do not have it approved yet.

Have been to 3 smog shops, nobodys cool.

Can't go to the shop I got it from because I got it from Infiniti and they as of yet don't want to help me out..imagine that.

well I know they do have it approved. I had to get it smoged 3 months ago. It took some time but i got it. I can call the smog company up and see if they have a record of it or can get it again for me

Why not put the stock intake back on?

The Injen intake is PENDING CARB approval.
That means they've filled out the paperwork, but it has NOT
been approved yet. Therefore, it's technically ILLEGAL.

Put your stock intake on if you want to pass smog.

well i dont know who you guys are talking to. I got my car smoged with it on 3 mos. ago and they got the carb #. it passed and had no problems so there is a carb # and it has passed from what they found out for me at the smog shop.

Either that or they just took a carb # from another CAI to get yours to pass :)

no it was the right carb #. they had to make calls and look on the internet for about an hour, but they got it and it was legit.

Joey is correct, the CARB number is pending. I spoke with Byron at Injen a couple of weeks ago about this. It sounds like they are just awaiting approval.
