I don't think people that ask these kinds of questions really know what they are asking. OP, do you still want your low end? Or are you willing to give up the low end to read 300hp on the dyno? If you make intake/exhaust ports big enough, make sure the intake/exhaust/cams can support the airflow, sure you can get to 300rwhp. As long as you can rev the motor high enough.

Many people in the USA have tried hitting this number, I do not know of who has succeeded and who has not.
the dynamics behind an NA 300WHP build on the VQ motor is very intense.
Higher compression, built motor, stronger valvetrain, properly built heads / tuned cams and sprockets, custom ECU (in this case I think the ONLY correct way of doing this is standalone), a well tuned exhaust, super light flywheel / clutch, balanced internals etc etc.
Is it possible? Sure, tuners in Japan have done it, and they have even made tuner packages (...that only work on JDM spec cars BTW) for this type of setup. But the price is very very high. lots of custom work, and the fact that you're pretty much entering no man's land prevents many from trying this.
I've priced this out before for myself on my old Z, and was looking at well over $20K. Even the tuning packages in Japan from Mines, Nismo, etc, are VERY expensive, and after the motor work is done, and install on all the parts and tune you'll be at least in the 20 K range.
It just takes a good builder / tuner and tons of cash.
there isn't ANYONE that can provide you with a list of parts since it's not really something people succeed at.
But GOD I want to see someone pull it off with a reliably built motor!!!
