Blown Engine 05 TT

Hey guys,

Unfortunately I blew the engine in my JWT 530bb 05 g35 coupe. I'm guessing this happened because of the shitty tune on the car. Anyway I would like to know if I would be better off buying another engine stock and getting a good tune on the car or getting the blown engine built if the block is salvageable. Would a build be necessary on this kit running 6.8psi at 398whp with a proper tune or should I build? I will be contacting some shops tomorrow but I figured most of you have a lot of experience with this and wanted to hear everyones $0.02 on what my game plan should be because right now I am absolutely lost and I don't want to go spend a ton of money unless it's the absolute best way to go.

Thank you all,

Kyle(Black n Blue)

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, just get another stock motor and restart the countdown til the next engine failure (its inevitable ).

Have to spend money on this one and rebuild your engine. Get stronger parts like rods and Pistons. I hear a lot of 1st generation blow there engines.

I say start with a long block from Importpartspro.com and go from there. A built block is always better on fi cars.
