G35x 05 new starter new battery won't start
 

Morning sirs. Yesterday was a hell of a day. My car wouldn't start until it got jumped. I went to autozone and bought a new battery. New battery goes in and still won't start. I bought a new alternator minutes later and we installed it. Car still wouldn't start. The starter would only click rapidly. We were stumped for 3 hours and then we tried using a breaker bar to move the crank. After that we heard a noise like u hear when u first turn the key to "on". At that time it was like the flywheel lined up with the starter motor. It started up fine. I drove it the rest of the day. Started up perfect on every crank. Even this morning. On my way to work I stopped at dunkin to grab a sammich. When I get to my car it doesn't even click. Everything works except the starter. I tried cranking with the breaker bar and I even heard the beep from the car but still no luck. When I installed the starter yesterday, I forgot to unplug the battery and the starter wire made contact with something and started a fire. We put it out and kept working. I'm at a loss for words right now. Anybody got any clues??

My guess is you burned wire/s or something else that needs to be replaced.
