MY fix to P1273 and P1283
This fix will apply to all who have similar modifications to what I got or point others into a right direction for solutions.
I got this code after I installed HI flow cats and vented catch can on both lines. Since the code indicates issues in air to fuel mixture, it's difficult to determine if the problem is at the exhaust end or intake. My problem was with a PCV line vented into an open catch can. It was considered as a vacuum leak by ECU and throwing the code. As soon as I reconnected the line back to intake plenum code went away. |
So run a sealed can in guessing you are saying?

sealed can on the PCV side for sure. And check those areas for leaks if nothing else helps with the code.
Hey joker, I got the 06 g35 coupe 5AT w/ headers, invidia test pipes (non foulers), x02 cat back with custom X-pipe, k&n short ram intake... I'm getting codes for both Air Fuel ratio sensors... Code says they are out range... Will this fix that problem? |

So if you don't have a catch can, then just check for leaks on those two lines (google for pictures) if that does not help first place usually folks start looking for solution are O2 censors on cats/test pipes. |
