What's a G45 worth to you?

Assuming it could be done, what would you pay for an upgrade to the Infiniti 4.5L engine in your G35?

Been thinking about that myself. If it fit, the G tranny would work (don't like the Q/M shifter), and it wasn't too expensive for the kit and install, I would be interested. If it was around 4 g's for everything, I would be interested.

Are you just asking the question or are you looking to put together a kit?

I wouldn't. It would upset the weight distribution way too much. I like the G35's VQ. If I wanted a V8, I'd have waited for the [ugly] M45.

I'm wondering if there is a side business to be had there. The main work is the wiring harness and potentially relocating the engine mounts or coming up with modified engine mounts. BTW, I was meaning dropping in a 4.5L engine. I doubt there is enough block left to bore out.
