Stillen Hi-flo CAI...don't buy it!
I bought this last year and while it may help a little, I was surprised to learn that unit had cracked around the mounting area. I have no idea why it cracked, other than it must be cheap plastic they use (I originally thought it was urethane). I contacted Stillen about it and they never heard of that happening, AND they said they wouldn't do anything about it because there is no warranty on it. They were willing to sell me a new one though. You'd think they'd make high quality stuff and stand behind it. They sure aren't looking for repeat customers...so don't give them a chance.
Just my $0.02. |
It's beginning to sound like Crawford is the only way to go for high-flow cats.
I've heard several horror stories about cats made by other companies. |

Your right. My bad. I just saw high-flow and started typing.

Sounds like a bad install to me.

There's no warranty on it?

Stillen just hasn't factored in the amount of heat and vibration that can occur in the engine compartment. They used cheap material in my opinion. |

It could have just been a random deffect. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
btw, for future refference... CAI stands for Cold Air Induction |

I suppose. I was just going by the original use of the word/abbreviation. I didnt know companies now'a days are using "intake" now too. :)

19k miles on my Stillen airbox and no issues.

Yes, I overtighten everything like lugnuts...it's all my fault. |
