'05 cams

Can I do an '04 swap for the coupe's '05's cams? If so, will there be any noticable gains? Also, will I need to upgrade valve springs and rods? I'd rather not since I have the opportunity to buy the cams cheap. I've done a search, but haven't found much on the pros or cons. Much thanks!

The amount you'd pay for an install (upwards of $1k) I'd say skip it. Save that $1k as your down payment toward your FI of choice.

I'm sure you'd void your engine warranty if you opened her up and changed out the cams according to most of the mod unfriendly Infiniti dealerships out there.

Can't do it. The '05 RevUp Cams are designed to work as a system. The exhaust valves have variable timing, the non RevUps do not. At the very least it would take a new ECU and we also know know the plenum bottom is different. The connecting rods and bolts are also different. I'm sure there are many other things that we don't know about yet.
