idle issues

I installed the JWT Popcharger last night. Initially I noticed no issues, but this morning the idle is somewhat erratic. It fluctuates from the typical 650ish down to around 300 or so. Has yet to stall, but the vibrations in the cabin are driving me insane.

Any ideas?

i had the same problem after installing my mrev+, found out that there was a small leak cause one of the hoses weren't on tight enough. i'd suggest checking the hoses first then uninstall/reinstall. other than that, i dunno :| good luck

Oh crap. Your post just made me remember...

There was a hose connected to the upper end of the stock G35 intuke tubing, approx. 1 inch in diameter. I forgot to reconnect!

But I dont remember seeing anywhere to plug it to the ztube???

What is this hose? And could I have caused any permanent damage driving for 40 miles or so with it open to the atmosphere?

That would be the emissions tube. On a "Z" tube, the said is located underneath. It's between the flex joint and Throttle body of the tube. Hopefully the clamp is still attached. You should be fine. At this point, a simple ECU reset via the pedal method would not hurt. While your at it, be sure to recheck the Throttle Body clamp, as well. Good luck!
