I just now opened the lip that was shipped to me and noticed it does not have tabs on it like the lips in the current pictures. Is there something wrong with mine, or did the design just change?

The more I look at it the more it looks like I got a coupe lip possibly.

Can these be modified to fit 03-04 nismo bumper?

 

^Yes. But from my understanding it will take substantial modification.

 

here's a pix with authentic nismo bumper 03-04 with 05-06 ionic lip. The fitment was tested and has a gap on one side but fits perfectly on the other, which I think it's an easy fix. This lip really goes on 05-06 replica nismo bumper. My friend with 03-04 going to order his next month he said? pics to follow..
