What's My Next Step Re: Orlando Infiniti?
I took my car in for service last week and when the car was returned, they had neglected to return my remote door lock device! Also, I brought it to the Service Manager's attention that paint was coming off the side view mirror(laser red) when it was waxed. He said he would "research" it and call me within 2-3 days!
When I got home I called the dealership and explained I didn't get the remote back, and they would need to find it or order me another. Over a week later, and the Service Manager HAS NOT called me back regarding the paint, and neither the service writer or Service Manager have returned my call regarding the remote! I called back today, and the Service Manager said he would leave a message for the service writer regarding my missing remote door lock. When/if I don't get a call from the service writer by the end of the day on Monday, who do I need to contact at Infiniti corporate headquarters to file a complaint? I'm basically through with OI since I have NEVER received a return phone call on ANY matter I've called them on. Suggestions, please! BTW, I want to make this as uncomfortable as possible for these bozos! |
Sorry to hear that, it's not looking good for most of the FL Infiniti dealerships. http://www.infiniti.com/iapps/contactus
At least Lokey is always quality and on top, even if it is a drive for most. |
Thanks for the link! I'll give it a shot, but I'm NOT overly optimistic!
|
That sucks. The worst part is, they really don't care about your problems.
|
I've finally come to that conclusion!
Guess I'll need to find another place to get my work done! |
Call and ask to talk to Peter (the managing partner) and tell him about your issues! I had had many problems there when i first bought my car and he will do his best to make it right!
|
Hum. I was there just this week with my Sedan. Now maybe because I was sniffing around the '07, or what but the service was quite good. Except the Sales guy that tried to help me out and could only tell me one thing different between the sport and the journey package on the 07 sedan. Anyway I find if you stop in and talk straight to them (i.e. be there in person) it is far more effective then just a chat over the phone.

Update:
End of day Monday, no phone call....just as I anticipated! Damn, these guys suck at customer service! Guess it's time for a pissing match! (Memo to OI...you've lost a future new car sale over a freakin' keyless remote .....YOU do the math!) |
***UPDATE*******
After receiving a mail in survey on my recent service appointment(OI got all "ZEROS" on their ratings!) I made a call to Infiniti's Consumer Affairs department. Amazingly, I got a phone call from the dealership THE NEXT MORNING addressing my issues. A new remote door lock key fob is waiting at the dealership with my name on it! However, the Service Manager still has NOT called me back regarding my paint issue! Oh well...one victory at a time! |
nice and congrats!

If you do go to Orlando Infiniti call and ask for Ron Shillings. I had an issue with my fuel sensor, first guy I had was an *** and ended up getting fired so I was in the same boat you were. Then I had Ron handle my issue and he by far was great. Its worth a shot.
|
Ron Shillings was my service advisor that I had the issue with!
Of course, the Service Manager was just as negligent in looking into my paint issue! Oh well..... |
Wow, I stand corrected.
|
This is why I take my car for major services appointments to Brian Casey at Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, Fl.
I would definately warn the service advisor at OI or Peter that you are unhappy and will put bad marks on there survey unless they wise up and do they're job right. |
