Thumbs down Wheels America Miami Fixrim.com ( Don't send them a rim via USPS!!! )

Sorry, I have to vent this morning. Hopefully this post might save someone else from the stress that i'm going through.

I sent one of my Volk wheels to Wheels america (miami location) last week. The wheel isn't really bad, just a small curb rash and the face of the lip was bent in a little bit. Nothing they couldn't fix in one day. So I went to the post office (the first place you would think to send a package? ) I paid double to have it shipped Priority mail, so that my wheel would get there in 1 day.

sure enough, I check the delivery confirmation on USPS.com and my rim arrived to miami in one day, but I get a message saying that due to forwarding instructions, my package has been redirected.

I call wheels america and their attitude was " What? you sent it USPS? no body sends us mail that way? It probably got forwarded to our Dallas office" WTF! I called 2 times before I shipped my rim to make sure what info to include, etc... and at no time, no where on there website do they say that you must ship UPS or Fedex. Now they "think" my rim is being forwarded to the dallas office half way across the dam united states. And IF and When it gets there, They'll send it back (no doubt via the slowest shipping possible) to miami again, so they can fix it.

So bottom line, Wheels america miami apparently forwards all usps mail to dallas, they don't know where my wheel is and I can't contact a live human being with the USPS to find out where it was actually forwarded to, and what should've been a 3 day downtime, is now going on over a week and looks to be indefinite now. Everytime i call wheels america, they say we'll check into it, take down my info, and then don't call me back. This sucks. argh.... /end rant.

Hey lyndon, saw your car at the waterless carwash at the town center. How do you like that? That doesn't scratch your car???

Also, when's the next meet?

I can roll up on my stockers....seeing as my rim is still Missing in action...

www.turbax.com

**update** dallas just called, they just got my wheel in (2weeks)
Guess we'll see now, how well they can fix a volk wheel. *fingers crossed*
