Let's see some pictures of my old compadres!

I've been away for awhile, but would like to see what everyone has done with their cars (or moved on to)? Post up a picture, and if you don't know who I am, feel free to post one anyway and introduce yourself.

Hey, were you driving down trednick to mccormick yesterday? I was driving next to this vette that looks like yours, and i could've sworn I heard a blow off valve, hahaha.. I'm wondering how many twin turbo vettes could be in town? That thing sounded MEAN. I was driving in a slow DG Coupe w/ volks. haha Come to think of it, do you live in my subdivision? (Kernan forest?) car(s) look familiar.

Jason, how's the pimp pad going? have you been to the new wing of the town center?? they have furniture store galore! haha lata, Jon.

Yeah, that was me. I met you a few times actually, ha ha. One time was when I ran into the back of your girlfriend's RSX when I was on my motorcycle. Then I met you again at some restaurant at the beaches, with Jason and some other G35 owners, back when I had mine.

I don't think there are any other twin turbo vettes in town. There are a few supercharged ones and a wicked fast, single turbo C4.

But yeah, I live in the same neighborhood.

Ryan,

I miss my suede interior, I really loved that smell. Hows driving a boosted G treating you? You probably still get better gas mileage than my Jeep!

David,

I will do my best to get out to the next meet, maybe the Hooters one coming up? I won't have a "fun" car to bring, but if I can a ride in your car it would probably be worth it. I was really close to buying a Z06, but I just can't stand the interior!

Jon,

The new part of the Town Center is awesome - definitely going to hurt the wallet! I've seen you cruising around Atlantic a few times, but in my crappy Jeep you probably didn't notice... Are you still with Kendale?

Car is looking awesome - DPE's are perfect. I thought about getting some 22" DPEs for the Jeep, but thought better of it with no way to lower the Jeep :(

Hopefully a boosted M3 coming soon..

98intrigue Nov 8, 2007 02:50 PM

A bosoted G is a little more fun and a little more money, haha. Just picked up my DPEs today and am sitting at the tire shop getting them installed. Got the curb rash and bend fixed and all the lips were repolished. My last set of rear tires lasted me only 6 months. But it's fast. The cold weather is nice too, especially since I haven't had AC since February :(. I want to see pics of the SRT8!

Yeah, I'm going to try to make the Hooters one but I'm not sure if I will be able to. I'll definitely give you a ride if we both make it down there. The interior was my only gripe about the car as well. Its very cheap looking and outdated. Oh well, I'm all about the performance anyway. :D
