Any good reco's for brake pads???
I was just informed i need some new brake pads and for all 4 pads it's approximately $240 bucks!!! anyone have a good reco for some brake pads for the brembo calipers that are on par or better than the OEM infiniti pads for cheaper?
Let me know guys, thanks in advance! -Matt |
I liked the Axxis Ultimates, but they dust quite a bit. They are really inexpensive too. I liked the Axxis Deluxe pads that I had on my sedan. I have heard good things about Project Mu pads.

As far as the Hawk's I have heard a lot of complaints about bad initial bite and bad bite in rain....
I have yet to hear anything bad about Project Mu's. Everything I've heard is good pad life, little to no dust, no noise, great initial bite hot or cold. $240 for all 4 OEM pads actually isn't too bad... |
How much do the project Mu pad's run for all 4 corners? I might have to try those next time.
I have the Hawk HPS pads and they are good. I don't think they have the same bite as the oem pads, but they are a good compromise. Especially with the very LITTLE dust they put out, compared to stock. If i remember correctly, the Hawks cost $172 for front and rear. You have to make sure to apply the brake quiet stuff to the back of the pads before you install them, or they will squeal like crazy. Mine have actually lasted a really long time. |
I have Hawks from racingbrake dot com...I have their slotted/drileld rotors, too--and nothing but great things to say about them...The pads are definitely much less than $240...

i love hawk for low brake dust.. stock brake pads suck all the way around..
hmmm never ran into any issues w/ my hawks in the rain... |
wow guys thanks for the reco's i thought 240 for pads was pretty crazy! :7:
