Lennox if you have nothing worthy of posting in my thread get out.

My driving record from ohio is pretty clean I think I have a speeding ticket but not sure if it will show some states don't transfer records like that. I am going to go and fight it the worst that can happen is i get the fine and points.... I may have crossed the white line but I head checked it wasn't like I cut some one off.

Did you get your license changed to FL? If not, that ticket will probably still show up..

Is it 10 years? Or lifetime?

I had a couple tickets recently. I decided not to do the course for the first one. And a week after sending the payment for that, I got another one. I passed an unmarked cop 80 in a 65. $236 plus more points.

I thought it was lifetime... I was in my lawyer's office 3 times this past month and he kept saying you can take the class up to 5 times in your lifetime, unless it's court appointed, those don't count.

You just get that on your Miami trip? At least it wasn't 130+ in a 45

^ya thats what happens when you leave the strip club at 830am then wake up at 4pm and realize you have to work by 11pm so dip out.

the driving class is limited to 5x LIFETIME with a minimum of 365 years between TICKETS not when you take the course.

im between hiring a lawyer and just taking the course. fl is so cheap, its usually only $75-100 for the lawyer. only thing is i just got 1 dropped up here in jax.

That's right off the DMV website.

How many times can I choose to attend a driver improvement course?

That's why you want the judge to order you to go to traffic school. that one won't count as one of your "chosen" courses.

On the ticket, it says lifetime, though. Hopefully the website trumps that. Maybe it's been changed and the "paperwork" doesn't reflect that.

that requires me showing in court (so fla) or hiring a lawyer. at that point, might as well just plead no contendre and get it dropped with court fines.
