I am seriously considering getting the grounding wires for my G. If anything, having that blue stuff all over my engine bay will match my car perfectly. Both a show and go mod, best of both worlds :D

No, it was I who made that post. That question was so dumb that I just HAD to make something up that sounded technically correct but was obviously filled full of holes to the not so casual observer.

Come on, who in their right mind would believe this...

"The problem lies in the vehicles ability to emit hydroflorocarbons (HFC’s) through the intake ports on the headers. Incase you don’t know, the stock headers are very restrictive by nature. When the HFC's are introduced into a poorly grounded engine, the stock grounding wires send bad signals to the oxygen sensors, thus timing is retarded, and the engine is ELECTRICALLY drained of the horsepower it should be making. ... Bottom line, grounding wires will not only give you 8-10 rwhp, but they may help to keep your engine from premature detonation."

Since you have not run over any wild animals recently, I have to find something to pull your leg about. However, I think you just burst Finiti's bubble. ;) I think you almost even had Wes going.

For the people that have not heard your verbosity on this subject before, they are definitly buying it. :eek:

Why bother? Hoping for 8-10 rwhp gains from grounding wires is tantamount to flapping your hands in the air and expecting to fly. I still dig the blue cables in the engine bay though ;)
