Any shops that'll install Spring/Shock Combo for $120?

Are there any decent shops out there that'll install a spring/shock combo for that price? Or would any of you guys be capeable? I'm still stuck on Tein Basic vs. H-Tech 350Z x Tokico Collabo...

I know Dynamic Turbo charges arms and legs, I never called Billet Motorsports yet, Horsepower Connection said $250, I also need to try South Florida Performance. I can't think of any other shops, even if you're up north fill me in on a place because I have to pick up my rims from RZ Motoring in June anyway. Thanks alot!

dream_G35 May 8, 2006 10:22 AM

Foo_G May 8, 2006 10:26 AM

I'll look becasue I know someone has posted on this but can't recall where. I would not mind doing a group install. I havea floor jack I can bring.

People always flame people for nt searching but relevant informaiton is hard to find on this bloody site.

Ahhh I bought the wheels from Jay at the Orlando RZ Motoring, I'm supposed to visit my friend in Tampa but I'm not sure when she's moving there. The DIY is somewhere in the Wheel/Tires or Suspension on the main forums. It's not that hard just a pain in the ***. It takes a long time if it's your first time doing springs too.

RZ in Orlando is doing my 350z suspension swap for around $130.00 but I have done some business with them.

Here is the link to a DYI that G35sedan (The suspension Guru) wrote on the g-owners site. Doesn't look too hard but I have zero tools for the job and those who know me know that I wouldn't fit well under a G (I am 6.6) :D:D

Hope that helps

dream_G35 May 8, 2006 03:22 PM

^^$130 thats pretty good.....

Yeah, I can't wait to see it 1 inch lower, but not sure how I feel about going from a 2005 G35 sedan without sport suspension 238/308 (spring rate) to a 2005 oem 350Z suspension with 314/427 (spring rate)

All of the 2005 G35 coupes when delivered with oem 19's has a 314/427 (spring rate) so it can't be that rough.

Not sure what Lokey Infiniti would charge, but I am sure it is worth a call. I don't live over in that area but I called my Local Orlando Infinit and that was worthless   . I knew more about the my G's suspension than the Service writer. He flat out told me that I couldn't do it because it wouldn't work. He offered to transfer me to the parts dept. so that they could find my a lowering kit. I had some time on my hands so i edumacated (:D) him. All I was asking for was for a price and he still hasn't called me back with a price (It has been over a week). He said that he had to go talk with their suspension specialist tech:D:D:D

I strongly believe that enthusiastic owners are in most cases far better technicians than those at the stealerships. We communicate better, share more information and have far more vested in our automobiles long term health than they do.

I wish I could afford to buy a consult-ii system but at least I have the next best thing with my autoenginuity scantool.

$130 at RZ is a good price. I'd have my sedan done for that amount. I want to see your in person when it is done, Jason.

vrsc May 8, 2006 08:08 PM

+1 Noah...

Sean, Is your sedan lowered? I have only seen your Coupe
