STS Remote-Mount Turbo Intro Price.

Last time I checked CinMotorsports is giving the kit for $5800 with install. I have been in contact with STS since I'm one of their Tester so I ask Vernon for a Price just in case someone is interested and he said he can give it out for $5500 (With New Pipe) plus $150 for shipping. This kit is not for big power but it is good enough to blow your Stock Motor (mid 400whp) also there are option for bigger Turbo when you decide to upgrade;) . Since I got my kit I fell in love with the sound, even STI, EVO and GTO all stop me and ask me what I'm running coz this thing sound so sweet. I believe with Utec coming with the kit that it is very reliable and there are 5 of us who have this kit and all are running fine (mine has 3000 Hard Driving miles, other has 6000+). Here is what it comes with the kit.

-Turbo – TO4E60 O Trim .58 AR housing 520 Crank HP turbo
-Spark Plugs – NGK One stage colder
-Injectors – 440cc
-Intercooler – Front mount air to air
-BOV - Tial 11 # spring below 4000 feet
-Waste Gate – Tial 38mm .4bar spring unless order different
-Tuning – UTEC tuning with MAP-Unless different MAP needed Email Rick
-Oil – STS patented 2 speed oil pump with lines and check valve
-PCV – STS patented PCV crank case boost eliminator with lines
-Wire – STS Multi role wire harness with optional meth pump connection
-Pipes – STS HPC coated inside and out charge pipes with high pressure silicones and clamps
-Bolts – STS 350Z bolt kit
-Fuel- Walbro 255lph fuel pump.

For what it comes with (All quality parts) I think it is not a bad price and install is around $800-$1000. Since the Turbo is at the back self install can be done and trouble shooting is much easier. This kit will also have the new relocation Pipe down in the Middle (Good for City Driving with bad roads) but you can still Opt for the Standard Pipe at the side of the car (Not a problem in area that doesn't have bad roads)

EDIT: I have been seeing quotes lower than these lately so Call STS coz Prices changes all the time, up to $4995;)

If anyone is interested and I'll put you through direct with STS.

Arvin

looks sweet. how's the lag?

lag is not as bad, I hit 8lbs of boost at around 3800-3900 and that is with stock CAT, Headers and Y-Pipe. Other tester are thinking about swapping the CAT with Testpipes, also replace the stock Y-Pipe, and also do some Heat wrapping the exhaust, hopefully that will also help with the spool. Honestly lag is not as bad with our engine, V6 has enough TQ to really get you going below 3KRPM and with our Tranny 2k-4K really get there fast especially in the lower gears.

Here are some Dyno from my Car (05 6MT). first two are for my 4.5 Map and the last two are for my 8lbs map.

Ok, I haven't had a chance to do a Full Video but here's a 1st gear run with only 1-2lbs of boost. This was at a meet so the car was sitting for over an hour so Turbo and engine is cold. Trust me in 2nd+ gear pull with Full Boost and when the Wastegate open it is sound 4x better than this.

This one shot by my wife with a cheap camera phone (1st-2nd gear pull) Wastegate kinda over powered the turbo using 4.5psi Map:p

One is running 10lbs and he got 420TQ and 400WHP with stock CAT. the turbine is good for 15-16psi but you loose efficiency at that rate.

Awesome kit and a great deal for what you get.
