^^You two haha.

Cliff...the STS kit doesn't use an exhaust at all. You don't install one with the use of this kit. So there is technically no interference of anything.

Nice set up, I don't know much about reading dyno lines but those look funky, not only that the airfuel doesn't look very correct, hrrrrrrmmm.....is this the best tune?? Again iono, nice set up though.

From my understanding you don't run any exhaust. Unless you call the pipe coming from the turbo an exhaust, which..technically I guess it is.

no unless you have a TT rear-mount lol... The turbo is in the end acting as your muffler so you don't really need one.. as matter of fact bigger exhaust will hurt coz now you are increasing the volume the exhaust has to go through... This will slow down the exhaust travel and turbo spool will be affected dramatically.

hi fi'ed g, can you run with the stillen headers and hfc's on this kit? Or is it necessary to keep all exhaust stock?

headers can be tricky and depend how big it is but as long as you heat wrap it or do a jethot coating then it should be ok. HFC is good but TP is better (stay below 2.25 in diameter) but if you have a thing for smell and loudness the go with the HFC. Many of us STS owner switched to TP and we are all happy with the response we got.

The reason I ask is I wanna save on cost, I decided to stay NA but now I want FI. I dont want to much power like 350 to 370 whp cause I have a 06 Coupe AT. Ive been looking at this kit or the APS ST, but Ive heard many good things about STS plus the installation is much easier than the other less time. Thanks for your time

The exhaust for the kit is the single stock pipe feeding the turbo. From the turbo exhaust outlet its just coming out single and Y'd to appear like a stocker would from the rear. Yes, I get how it works, my point is that if you've already upgraded your exhaust your going to have some issues to figure out, that may mean returning to a stock type of set-up as the OP has said, nothing more.

The dyno was also not corrected value he said whatever that means. and do the size of the wheels effect torque? i have 19's with 285's. maybe? the pull was done in 4th gear. my bolt ons are underdrive pulley, testpipes, and plenum spacer. tuner also told me i am running very safe and that it is pretty much almost at optimal performance before things could start getting risky. I HAVE NO METH INJECTION.

Yes, I think your tuner did squeeze what ever HP he can muster on that and you can see on your A/F. Mos VQ tuner wont tune a turbo car on high 11's or even mid to low 12's at full boost without Meth. Your A/F between 4000rpm-5000rpm look good though and that is were VQ tend to knock the most. There is nothing wrong with it as long as you are not knocking. Since you have Utec, I strongly suggest to do some logging and do some hard driving. It is really hard to hear knock unless it is a big one but Utec logs should be able to pick that up as long as your knock settings are right. The highest A/F ratio I would run without Meth is 11.7:1 but that is just me being on the safe side... lol

Like I said, your tuner my have choose to run leaner A/F but counter balance that with more conservative ignition timing. So you maybe safe... Are you in Florida? I suggest to have Jeremy at PF look at your car coz he already tuned a least 3 STS cars if you want a second opinion...
