DIY Stillen Supercharger Install/Removal

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a DIY for a Stillen Supercharger install/removal. I am planning to put my car back to stock and don't have instructions on to remove the supercharger. If anyone has instructions on how to remove, or even instruction on how to install (I could just go backwards), it would be very helpful!

LMK thanks!

You use to be able to download it on the stillen site so it may still be there or contact stillen and have them send you one.

just installed stillen s/c on my 03 g 6mt and their catback exhaust.so far i've got 327 whp,300 tq.still trying to iron out kinks but stillen is very slow to respond. idle speed still not reliable. mpg is down 2-3 with very conservative driving. exhaust has annoying drone at constant 60-70mph. plan on wrapping all piping in fiberglass tape to minimize noise.hp is down about 20 hp from advertised.like to hear from anybody with similar instal.

If you just bolted it on and are boosting around on the factory stillen "tune" you're just asking to blow something up. Find an uprev protuner near you and have them dyno tune your car. You'll probably need some additional fuel system upgrades as well

I'd like to see them actually make good on that tho.. It sounds good in theory but in real life they're going to find all kinds of reasons to deny it

Warrantying the actual supercharger is one thing, a guarantee on your motor is another. If there's a defect in the unit they should and will fix or replace it as long as they can't prove that you directly caused the fault. But there is absolutely no way they'll fix your motor if it goes boom.

Can't remember the name anymore but there was a shop that was pretty well known on the Z forum a few years ago and offered a "no questions asked 100% guarantee/warranty" on their built motors and turbo kit installs/ tunes. Talked a lot of trash flaunting that warranty... Until a couple guys got burned and it came out that they would always find a reason to deny the warranty... At the end of the day it's just their word against yours

Makes absolutely no difference for a tuner... I would never trust a canned tune with FI, be it a split second box, emanage, of even a reflash. NA cars are cool but FI is a whole new ball game and you really need a to get on a dyno with a competent tuner
