It's been a while. Here's an update

After looking into new cars and realizing how much I love the G35, I decided to go FI.My list is as follows:
Greddy turbo kit w/intercooler
Greddy type RS blowoff valve
Greddy Profec b boost controller
Greddy 52mm egt and boost gauge
Borla true dual exhaust
Test pipes
Greddy front fascia
Hotchkis sway bars
RPS stage two clutch and flywheel
J&S ultrasafeguard with 52mm af/knock retard monitor
ARP head studs
Metal head gasket(don't remember the brand)
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Crawford polished cast plenum

It is being installed by Innovations Perfomance in Winter Springs, FL at the end of the month.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I almost sold the G but she brought me back with her looks and ride. :D

THe OEM head gasket is more than adequate. I'm suprised you woudl have upgraded head studs etc witout going further with forged rods and lower CR pistons. Also you''ll see significant gain upgraeding the CAM with FI (oe JWT S1).

Alan,

Check the link in my sig and join up. I live in Oviedo and would LOVE to see your install process in various steps. Check us out in the Florida G35 Club Forum and start posting. There is a HUGE CFL group of guys that would LOVE to be involved with your kit install.

Also, why didn't you choose Racing Zone for the install?

I know the work that has come out of Innovations Performance and Larry is top notch. I've also decided to go with new pistons(8.5) and rods. Larry talked me into it. Infiniti is installing a new transmission next week, so once that is done it will be over getting the turbo kit installed. All you guys are more than welcome over at his shop. We can meet up watch the progress then maybe grab a beer or two(or three). Good to hear from you guys.

PS-Neff, shoot me an email to niknala@gmail.com so I can email you back my cell phone number, etc.

Another update. Allocated necessary funds($18,000 give or take 2,000). TS reflash for FI, RC 650cc injectors, AAM fuel system, 8.6:1 arias pistons, pauter rods, ARP everything, PLX wideband, 20" TSW Thruxton's. All that plus the things earlier in the post and labor and I will have spent over $20,000 grand. I am shooting for 600whp but I want it nice and safe so it will last so it might be closer to 550whp. I'm really excited. Only thing that sucks is I'll have to ride the Bike(04' CBR 1000rr) for a couple weeks. It'll be a good warmup for the new and improved G35. :D

I definitely would shoot for 550hp - by what I've read, it's going to be pretty hard to exceed that level without radical cams and extensive headwork... good luck with everything, man - I wish you the best!

That's what I was thinking. I will make do with 550whp(hehe) cause if I don't watch myself I could end up with a $75,000 G35. I think $20,000 is enough considering I already have about $5,000 in the stereo and I also race motorcycles which is another money sucker. Thanks for the support guys. You Florida G35 members will get a step by step blow by blow of the buildup because membership does have it's privleges!

Well I decided to wait on the bottom end build for now. I can't do without the car for 2 months. I'm gonna source a block and crank then start from there. Everything else is going on the car. I guess I'll have to do with 425whp for now. The build starts in two weeks. Anyone who wants to come by is more than welcome!
