meatbag, it says K&N on it... I can only figure it is an air filter that goes between the IC and the 'Charger...

Are the stock sensors going to play with the tune? Change it in anyway because they arent running what they are used to? Or will all that be manipulated with the EM Ultimate?

Shooter, I WON'T be doing the install... I don't trust myself....alone. However, I will be installing it at an Infiniti techs house, and then trailoring it to tune. So I won't be completely not working on it! Also, I called GReddy today, they said the E-Manage Ultimate and the auto mixed were no problem at all. They just warned about the transmission acting up differently then the 6spd. I couldn't tell the guy I didn't go with the GReddy setup, lol... I had to lie... |

Ive never seen a ATI kit layed out like that . What is that muffler looking thing just to the left of the blower ?

Alot of people have asked me that. If you look down inside you can see what looks like an air filter with K&N on it. So, I believe it goes in the pipe comming off the IC as "CAI".

If you look at the intake of the blower you will see that there is no filter (just a metal screen). The canister goes after the compressor, before the IC to keep debris out of the motor.
Because there is basically NO intake left there is no place to pipe the OEM crank case vents to, so they are left venting to atmosphere. |
