i would go with castrol syntec before mobil 1

take a look at all the used oil analysis reports on my350z.com

castrol outperforms mobil 1 constantly.

yes it is, you can see from the oil reports that all wear levels are really low, but it can be hard to find... so i just went to walmart and bought a 5qt jug of syntec

so when looking at those charts, you want to go with the oil w/ the lowest Number in the bottom row where it says sustained viscosity right?

It's nice to see a compilation,
But that sample set is just too small to have any validity.
Most of the units only have 1 or 2 samples.

This would be great with a larger data set.

Go to bobistheoilguy.com. There is great info about oil and oil related products.

I use Q Power full syn. 5w-30 is $18 for a 5qt jug at chinamart.

I change my oil at 8K with a quality oil filter. Currently I am using Purolater Pure One filters, but along with the P1 the Wix, Napa Gold (made by Wix), Bosch, M1 ($$$), Amsoil ($$$), and K&N ($$$) are great choices.
