Shouldn't This Be Covered Under Warranty?

Recently I noticed that the driver's side interior side panel (in the back seat) had come loose alnng the bottom of the window. No, I haven't had any aftermarket work done. No Idea how it happened. Car only has 11,000 miles on it. Took it to the dealership and they told me that it's impossible for the clips to have broken off without somebody deliberately trying to remove the panel, and that they have to contact their Infiniti rep to see if it the repair will be covered under warranty. I asked him if the car was supposed to start falling apart after 11,000 miles. Hopefully this won't turn into a pissing contest. Any thoughts? Shouldn't this be covered under warranty?

should be unless there is obvious scratches/marks on it...

try another dealer...

Agreed, this should be covered.

Did you try just putting it back together? Hey, if they are just clips it's worth a try.

Unless there is indication of prior removal it should be covered.

Does the part appear to fit correctly, with no bowing? Just wondering what may have caused it to pop loose. If it's just a matter of clips, should be cheap even if not covered, but should be covered.
