it's "BO" not "OB"!!! gosh
 

i've been on these forums for a while, and i always see people posting it up. why?! it's BLACK OBSIDIAN, not OBSIDIAN BLACK. it seems like it's the only color people get mixed up on. i dont see anyone calling it graphite diamond, slate lakeshore, or red laser. maybe it's just me...but it still bugs the hell out of me. eh

It is said that in earlier g35 brochures the color for KH3 was printed "Obsidian Black". In the 07 brochure the color code is printed "Black Obsidian KH3". That is

why I think people get mixed up with BO and OB...I have never seen one of these older brochures so I just go by BO...I have an 07 brochure

and it says "BLACK OBSIDIAN"...If the older brochures do in fact say OB i'm still gonna go by BO because the code "KH3" is still the same and that's what infiniti

goes by now...So it's "BO" to me as well...

Well there are a couple reasons i think people (myself included) call it OB instead of BO.

1. BO = Body Odor
2. Black Obsidian...It just doesn't flow...Obsidian Black sounds much better.

So from now on and until my car lights on fire and blows up im going to call it OB.

The name of the color is last i.e. laser "red", twilight "blue", etc.

yeah, little that he knows that it used to be called OB on the brochure...always thought that BO stands for Bad Odor anyway. Maybe thats why some people goes with OB so there's less confusion...:icon17:

When i got my 06 it was Obsidian Black. Plus Black Obsidian just sounds stupid.

Plus does it bother you that much?
