This one actually works!

There was a cheapie one from JC Whitney that hooks on the door post bolt, but it would not work with the bracket used on the coupe
I put it on our Honda and it kept falling off.
But the Loopo works well on both!!

This is much better than the lap belt clip that keeps riding up against your stomach and twists the belt. This one take up the slack high up on the shoulder belt near the bracket. Very easy to adjust with one hand. Reach back and use your right thumb (driver side) and slide the button to tighten or loosen.

wow that's a perfect description of my ebay belt adjusters.. keeps pulling the belt up onto my stomach and it was much much more unconfortable...

After 2 days, no problem. I usually loosen it so the belt will fully retract and not get stuck in the door, etc.
You can leave it adjusted, and just toss the loose belt in your seat. I generally do that if it's a quick stop.

I could not believe when I read that it has been out for some 15 years!
They need to get this device out there! They are looking for resellers ;)

By the way, the plastic rivet snapped off some time ago on my belt. I need to get a metal one put in. My buckle keeps ending up between my seat and the door frame. A real beatch.. :)

I don't have any issues with the seatbelt but I must be in the minority.

I don't know about that. But it hits right at the base of my neck..I can move it out to my shoulder more and it just creeps back in over time.
It is definitely on the tight side too.
Just a belt cushion might work, but those alway screw up the retraction so the belt gets caught in the door when you leave, etc. At least in my experience.
I think it's less of a problem on the sedan.
If they had adjustable height it might help too. I have an 04 cpe.

I just went to walmart and bought some plain shoulder seat belt pads. The best $8 I spent. And plus, it matches my interior and feels uber soft.

Those are nice. I've had 'em on other vehicles. you could have both actually unless the pad alone does it for you.

Just use one of these bad boys. My parents use them in his truck. I've never had a prob in the G though, maybe I'm too tall for it to rub my neck at 6'2.

When I first purchased my 04 I too was annoyed by the seat belt hugging close to my neck area. After many attempted fixes (that all failed) I totally forgot about and now don't even notice it. Why can't I get used to and forget about my rattles????

Maybe the belt slowly cut a groove in your neck and you don't notice it anymore.. But rattles and squeaks never go away... until you start losing your hearing too!
Seriously I don't hear many rattles on my '04. Maybe the bracket for the passenger's seat belt on rough roads sometimes esp. when that seat is empty.
