Tire guru's chime in please
WTF is going on with the 17's??? How the hell do you get only the center tread wearing like that?

Its possible that the tire is actually designed that way. If you can verify that there's actually less tread in the center of the tire, using a tread depth gauge, then it looks like overinflation.

Check you tire pressure gauge....it may be off. Looks like over inflating.
If the tread is wearing on the inside portion of the tire,....it means the tires are over inflated. That is why the center of the tire is wearing faster... If you were under inflated, then the edges, inside/outside tread of the tire would wear faster.... |
