Autoblog's 370Z review... did i miss something?
 

the following is a quote from Autoblog.com's review of the 370Z.... are they on crack?? (seriously, my own bias towards the G aside)

The engine makes a nice growl at idle, but it's quickly lost once the engine spools and the mechanical noises up front drown out the two resonators in the rear (we are still waiting for VQ-equipped Nissan product with an impressive exhaust note).

haha must be... cause i get compliments on the sound of my G from a lot of people....... wait till i get my hi-flow cats (that i cant afford right now:icon43:)

They are crazy

if it doesnt sound like a 3 series or bugatti they wont like it

Just their opinion, I wouldn't read much into it.

I have yet to hear a 370Z in person yet so i'll reserve judgement until then

i've read the same comments from other publishers ... they seem to all like the exhaust note from the older gen cars.

Who made this comment, Auto how? They made that comment to get
attention, since you posted it I guess it worked. I've read 4 different articles
on the 370Z and everyone has nothing but praise, handling, weight loss, fit & finish and power....they love the new Z. Auto who....:OHBOY:

im speaking only about their comment that said they were still waiting for a VQ-equipped car to have a good exhaust note...... i think they forgot what the G35 sounds like

yea when i drove the g37 and 370z the VQ37VHR doesnt sound as good. it doesnt have the same tone. i revved the **** out of the g37, and took the 370z to 100 on the test drive :D
