Can't chirp second gear with JWT Clutch?!

Okay so i just got the clutch installed a few weeks ago.. I tried shifting it hard close to redline and it seems like it just doesnt wanna chirp the tires.. it seems like its just continuous power.. I have Falken F452s on 20s.. 275/30/20s.. I mean i can chirp 4th gear in my dad's g and hes got 245s in the back with the stock 18s.. Should i shift closer to 5k? or will i just not be able to chirp the damn tires period?

Is the JWT clutch lighter? If you have less rotational mass, you won't be able to chirp the tires, since it's the inertia in the spinning clutch that makes the tires chirp.

What's the point anyway, it doesn't make you go faster :D

Also, with the warmer weather your tires are going to get more grip.

That JWT clutch / Flywheel is like 14-18lbs lighter so I guess it does explain everything ahhaha.. My god does it shift nice tho I have to admit.. The gears go in a lot smoother and it did get rid of that decelerating transmission vibration I had before. The only downfall is the cemet mixer noise at low rpm / neutral but I love the combo.. the car just revs up so much faster its unbelievable.. the G just wants to keep going and going!

How much does a conversion like that cost? I've gotten used to the ridiculously light flywheel in my other car (1000->8500 RPM in like 1 second), so now the G feels a bit sluggish on the gas, especially on upshifts since I have to wait so long for RPM to drop. This may be a worthwhile upgrade.

Yea man seriously it is definitely worth the upgrade.. the car feels a lot more powerful for some reason.. shifting is quick, downshifting even quicker.. The Clutch/Flywheel Combo is 775$US Shipped and install well i guess thats up to you.. I got it done for about 350$US
