Key Fob Won't program
 

I bought two key fobs for the G, the car didn't come with any. I have been using a guide , close and lock all doors using the drivers side door lock/unlock switch, then insert and remove key from ignition cylinder 6 times within 10 seconds. Problem is nothing happens at all when iv'e put the key in and out of the cylinder. I've done it probably 30 times, and had someone else do it also, and nothing happens. Am I missing something?
