Just got an unmodified brake fluid cover in the mail today and I wasn't really sure what to do to mod it to make it fit. Improvised a bracket and some other stuff to keep it in place, but when I close it.. my hood doesn't go all the way down..

You might post pics. It's not clear what you got and what you've done with it.

 

Take a razor along the edge where the lip( on the side closest to motor) comes up over and over until it cuts all the way thru... I thing thats what your speaking of. Use the search, thats how I found out how to do mine

 

Nah that's not the thing that I'm speaking of. Also What did you search for because I tried using the search, but I had a hard time finding results

Are you speaking of the JDM Battery cover on the drivers side???

And nvm.. problem solved.. I spent like one and half hours cutting away at some of the parts with a steak knife and I eventually got it to fit without getting in the way of the hood closing and all.
