ARRRRGGHHH!!! I've raised a vandal!

So...my little girl (15 months old) whom I THOUGHT loved Daddy's car (giggles when we drive, always wants to sit in the driver seat and push buttons, and cries when you take her out) was helping me wash the G today. then amongst the giggles and laughter...I hear a new sound...the sound of keys...and the sound of keys on body panels!! :icon43:

So I look back to see my beautiful daughter...*chokes up* ...keying my car!!!

:bowrofl: Sigh...can't take yer eyes off em for ONE second!

kind of hard to see...and easily buffed but it looks pretty bad in person. lol...oh wells...the joys of Fatherhood still win out. :hello:

Damn guy your in a tough situation, you know who the vandal is but you cannot do anything about but go in the closet and scream your head off. Lol. Did you try to buff it out yet?

bluedevils95 Aug 13, 2011 10:00 PM

I guess you can't kill that vandal. Just take it out of her allowance. lol.

lols, pretty much :) Haven't tried to buff it (washed my G and the wife's FX and waxed her car today) but I'm sure a little rubbing compound will do the trick...it barely shows up in the pix heheh so it's not deep.

Ouch....! =o(

You have to admit she did a damn nice job! Now don't allow her access to keys until she's 16 and no tools until you've explained to her how to use them correctly....hammers/screwdrivers. :coolio:

Wow that sucks, I'd keep that pic to show her later in life haha

GeeWillikers Aug 14, 2011 10:55 AM

LOL Jooky.

Whens she's 16 and wants to borrow the keys whip this pic out and say NO!!!

My brain takes the weekend off sometimes. I thought the circle you drew was the actual keying. I was like A. That's a damn good ellipse for a toddler and B. That comes out with buffing? :icon43:

Did u break her fingers?? Lol

kimi Aug 15, 2011 10:37 AM

wow, that is horrible. definitely keep that pic to remind her when she's older and wants something expensive. Lol.

I have a 15 month old girl also. She loves to walk circles around my car.. it always makes me paranoid. im pretty lax with the kids but they all know the #1 rule: STAY AWAY FROM MY CAR! My gf's 3 yr. old always wants to help me wash my car but I say "its ok buddy I got it, thanks though". haha

Yeah, I learned most of what I know about electricity from sticking a paring knife into a 110 outlet when I was about 3. My mother kept that melted knife for many years, showed it to everyone who visited the house, and told the story every time.
