I can't feel the rush anymore!

Sorry for the stupid question. I bought the car('05 Coupe) for about a month now and I remember everytime I step on it to merge, I could feel this rush going through but now it's like ehh, is it because I'm using 89 Octane? I was coming from an RSX. Or am I simply used to it now?

ilovez33 Mar 2, 2012 01:35 PM

your using 89 bud. Our cars need 91 at a minimum..... When I was using 89 I could feel the difference when I'd pull off.

leanlikeacello Mar 2, 2012 05:24 PM

why are you using 89??

Shanes_G Mar 2, 2012 05:32 PM

the vq like 93 octane.

Th3R3dStar323 Mar 2, 2012 05:33 PM

91 min, use 93 if you can, just really depends wher ein the country you are. right now the highest i can get in clovis nm is 90 at the chevron.

easy to say when you dont have anything higher than 90 within a 4-5 hour drive.

AmateuRN Mar 3, 2012 02:46 AM

stage 2 gtm twin turbo kit in the garage, deploy in april again. Once im abck in oct its time for 4.1 stoker build with sleeve, plus cams and motordyne exhaust, and possibly 4.08 gears.

If you're going to be flooring it to merge on the highway you need premium fuel.

herrschaft Mar 3, 2012 10:15 AM

My car became boring after about a month of ownership too, and it wasn't because of the fuel. Quit being cheap and use 91 like your suppose to unless your stuck in Texas.

AmateuRN Mar 3, 2012 10:53 AM

Hay! More than steers and queers in Tx. I get 93 with no problem and I'm in buttfuk central tx.

I wish there was 93 out here. I know many other members from there who have no problem finding 91 but Texas is big so :dunno:

i also used to feel the rush when i first got my G but i'm now very used to the speed. if i take a new passenger in her and drive a little faster than usual (not even at full acceleration) they can definitely feel it and tell me about it.

also, i put in 94 because we don't have 93 here. not one i've seen in my area anyway.
