http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/z...yKillJUlez.jpg how do you remove the shift knob? i've never checked it out. i've been looking around and saw an m35 shift knob that was black perforated leather with white stitching and i'm leaning toward that knob. i just wanna keep it oem looking. |

this is my favorite setup for autos. the knob matches the trim nicely and the boot looks oem. how do you remove the shift knob? i've never checked it out. i've been looking around and saw an m35 shift knob that was black perforated leather with white stitching and i'm leaning toward that knob. i just wanna keep it oem looking. The shift knob removal for 05 sedans is actually very simple, way simpler then putting the boot on - not that that was hard just time consuming for a first timer like me. Basically just pull down on the silver piece below your shift knob, pull the silver pin out and then the knob pulls rite off. It's different for manuals I believe. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...nzon/step3.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...nzon/step4.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...nzon/step5.jpg ^^Borrowed these pics from another thread. |

I have several pic you might like to see in my garage from meets here in SoCal and one of my KJ Burnt Titanium Shift knob and shift boot. Funny how something as small as a shift knob mod/boot can put a smile on your face every time you turn the key....Gary
