@BradMD_96 is correct. I saw a Z in a scrap yard on craigslist, had the Nismo CAI, retails for $300 got it for $100. For now I'm just going to use the upper 'Z tube' part with my stock airbox. When I can find a stock lower plenum I'm going to do a DIY MREV2 mod and then I'll probably go with the CAI cone filter.
My mistake on the regulator/motor nomenclature, I used to have an EK Civic, and the forums are full of window regulator problems, so that word is stuck in my head.

Maybe he meant the tube part of it that puts it behind the fender. Im not sure but does the nismo intake use the stock plastic thing that routes air from the grill behind the hood? Or does that also go behind the fender?

did the clutch pedal adjustment I learned from here (http://my350z.com/forum/g35-g37/4391...great-mod.html) Took about 2 minutes to do. Now my clutch pedal sits even with the brake pedal, and full disengagement is a little before it hits the floor. For the first time I can actually feel the clutch disengage through the pedal, instead of just memorizing the placement. All in all very happy, and starting from a stop is much easier.
