That's why you always keep a note with what the key number is.

Today I scored a good condition set of OEM 2004 reflector headlights for $170 shipped, which I will be retrofitting with a combination of salvaged Ebay headlight parts (angel eyes, shrouds) and TRS projectors... I'm hoping to keep the cost under $300 for a fully retrofitted and restored set of headlights.

This weekend I'm headed back to Maine for the sole purpose of cutting out every speck of cancerous rust infecting my G's quarter panels, coating the inside with fluid film, and sealing em up with mesh and Bondo per the Chrisfix rust repair tutorial. If everything goes to plan the G will be 100% rust-free and dent-free by the end of the weekend with a fresh coat of primer over new fiberglass on both rocker and quarter panels.

Next I'm going to liquid wrap the whole car in Halo EFX True Gloss, which is the most recent evolution of Plasti-Dip.... except paint is a better comparison as you can wet sand and buff this stuff to a show car finish.
I'm still deciding on a color but I'm leaning towards Ferrari grey or Laguna seca blue. Or a crazy colorshift on the roof and black everywhere else.

Excited to see how this goes.

What did I do to the G?.... Sold it
Decided to stick with the 280. Like I said earlier in this thread, I'd love to keep both but for now I can only really keep one.
I'm sure I'll have another in the future though.

Ahhhh!!

also awesome. Those new ones look BEEFY. The old ones would fall apart if you bolted them down. Glad to see they are finally listening to customer feedback.

One owner 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT
I ordered one of these on Amazon the other day, after coffeysm suggested it to remove the cut off studs that I couldn't get out of my cat flanges.

It took me a couple of minutes to get the ground off remnants of the first one out, but after that I had the remaining three studs out in five minutes.

Old Y-pipe and mid-pipe removed. Ready to go in, once I get the muffler off and heat shield repaired are:

-Used OEM Y-pipe from that I got from Z1 for $127 shipped, as well as new gaskets and bolts.
-Used OEM mid-pipe from Ebay ($120 shipped).

I'm happy with both of these purchases - the flanges and flex pieces are in excellent condition. Hopefully the split flange repair kit works on the muffler, or I'll be looking for one of those as well. I did not want to fork out the money for a new cat-back system, though a Borla or Magnaflow would have been nice (the popular ones here are too raspy for my tastes).

Quick question...I searched but keep getting a bunch of varying answers.

How much vinyl would I need to fully wrap my 05 coupe?

Gonna depend on the shop and materials used. Best way to get an accurate quote my guy, otherwise it'll be all over the place. I got quotes from 2.5k all the way to 5k
